Swamp
novel by Antonio Pennacchi. Marsh is a person, other than the place where the story unfolds: Latin and his campaign, or the former Pontine Marshes. Playing between realism and magic, Pennacchi wraps his stories around the bar to "his" people, the mestizos of fascism, the poor of the farms after the war there where you stop Mussolini Canal. This novel was written before, and returned now in the library after the last success. In some ways is more complex, less compelling to others, and suffers a bit 'of a more "naive" and writing the narrative, paying an ambition certainly not limited. Anyway, interesting reading.
