book by David Peace (and my year of birth). Black, but a little 'darker than black because it immersed in the gray English pre-Thatcher, with the unions up in arms, IRA bombs, the winter of Leeds, synthetic carpet and moldy that seems to come from the pages of the book. Infanticide that ends up bringing the reader into a story of corruption, torture, perversions scary, dripping blood and piss and shit everywhere. To read, but not for white souls.
